A Stay at The Majestic Hotel in Harrogate
Recently we took ourselves for a Yorkshire staycation to the Doubletree Hilton Majestic in Harrogate. Weβve stayed at this hotel a few times and a few years ago it was renovated when it became a Doubletree hotel. We had a great stay at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate and filmed our day in life on our YouTube channel.
We headed out in the car heading towards Harrogate with a lunch stop at The Square and Compass in North Rigton. It was a nice day and so the pub was busy but we had booked a table.

We had a lovely lunch at The Square and Compass. I was recovering from a broken ankle on this visit and easily could access the disabled toilet which was an added bonus.
We left the pub and headed to Harrogate taking the scenic route.
A Stay at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate
The Hilton Harrogate Majestic Hotel overlooks the town of Harrogate and it is a grand hotel. We had an accessible room which was spacious and had everything I needed in the bathroom including a shower chair. We also had a fridge for some water and wine – All of the essentials!
Our stay was a dinner, bed and breakfast deal and we had a wonderful meal in Carters restaurant. The staff were lovely and we had excellent service. The restaurant has lots of flowers and chandeliers which I loved.
Before bed, we stopped for a cocktail in the champagne bar. It was fun to people watch people returning to the hotel after drinks in Harrogate!
The next morning was a buffet breakfast and although we didnβt film this in our day of the life video, we had an excellent breakfast which set us up for our journey home.
We once again had a great day out going to Harrogate, itβs so nice to have a little trip which isnβt too far from home.
